• Arcadia Medical Silicone Foam Cuff Tracheostomy Tubes have a foam filled cuff to provide a low sealing pressure and exceptional patient comfort.
• The tube has an angled design to help reduce pressure at the stoma site and tip trauma to the anterior wall of the trachea. The angled shaft design allows the tube to remain centered in the trachea to reduce pressure along the tracheal wall.
• The Foam Cuff passively expands to provide a tracheal seal to prevent leaks and protect against aspiration. Silicone Foam Cuff Tracheostomy Tubes reduce the risk of tracheal dilation by automatically adjusting to changes in the shape of the patient’s trachea.
• Soft, flexible, biocompatible silicone is the ideal material to help protect sensitive airway tissue from irritation or injury. Silicone is latex and plasticizer free.
• Foam cuff tracheostomy tubes are useful for long term ventilator patients, where cuff pressure against the tracheal wall may be of concern.
